Balancing principle

  • The rear counterweight keeps the unloaded unit horizontal, simplifying entry into the coil bore.
  • Under load, the centre of gravity moves beneath the vertical axis of the crane hook.
  • The slightly upward angle of the load arm helps prevent the load from sliding off the tip.
