01

Purpose

  • Distributes a long or unbalanced load across multiple lifting points.
  • Reduces the risk of bending, crushing and uncontrolled movement.
  • Helps control sling angles and local stresses.
02

Variable length

  • Telescopic sections may be manually pin-adjusted or hydraulically adjusted.
  • Modular spacers may be joined with high-strength bolts.
  • Multiple lifting eyes on a fixed body accommodate different load lengths.
03

Engineering criteria

  • Capacity, span, bending moment, deflection and lateral buckling calculations
  • Selection of box section, welded beam or appropriate H-section
  • Optimisation of self-weight and high-strength material for long spans
04

Required order data

  • Minimum and maximum load length and centre of gravity
  • Load weight and distribution
  • Crane-hook dimensions and connection method
  • Headroom limitations and site conditions

Technical verification: Capacity, pressure, dimensions, material grades and applicable standards are verified for each application during the quotation stage.
